John

John was the last of my sessions in Winnemucca last night. He was the cutest thing ever. He had such personality & you wouldn't believe that he wasn't 2 yet. He was able to talk & talk & talk. And for a less than 2 year old he sure did exactly what I told him too. His mama was so awesome to just let me & John play. And I think John liked that. His mom wanted some funky & up close shots, I hope she's really happy with how they turned out! I sure am! Thanks for trusting me with your little guys shots Jenny!

Noah & Ava

Noah & Ava came to visit me on my recent trip to Winnemucca Nevada. I had the opportunity to photograph them in their moms friend Katie's yard. It was so awesome to have the opportunity to get to know these 2. Noah is such an amazing lil guy, going into kindergarten and absolutely in love with science. This kid is going to make huge strides in what he does in his life. I can see genius already. Miss Ava was the sweetest little things, and the look on her face made me melt. She has the most gorgeous eyes.
These 2 kids were troopers! In the heat of the day, not once did they complain. They just kept chuggin along, playing the game with me.

Thanks mama S for sharing your darling little ones with me, I hope I have the oppourtunity to capture them again 1 day!

Katie

Miss Katie had me so excited to take pics of her little man Martin! She kept saying she hoped he cooperated! She was so frustrated after the session last night, but I think she'll really love how the pictures turned out. Martin is a lil man who has lots to say, and there wasn't a moment that I spent with him that I didn't have a smile on my face. I loved EVERY instant with this dude.

Katie lined up a couple of her friends to take photos too, the first which started in her yard. This girl has the most BEAUTIFUL yard, EVER. I love it.

Thank you so much Katie for trusting me to take pictures of your family. I really hope you love the outcome, because I think they turned out GREAT!

PS. When I showed up at katies house, her MOM was there! Her mom was my 3rd grade teacher... It brought up all sorts of memories, like the time I got sent out for something & the time she sent me to the principals office:) It was SO good to see you Rosita! (can I call my teacher by her first name?)

Freeman & Newkirk families

I was really looking forward to this session in my hometown groupings! Jimi went to school with my older brother, but she was always one of the girls who "liked" me too, even though I was the younger bratty sister! This session was a BLAST! I only wished we had about 2 more hours and a little more time with happy kids, although they did great.

Again, this session was a total "blast from the past!" And I was also able to have a really great chat with jimi after the session. Thanks for the ride guys & thanks for the great shots! You guys were wonderful.

Shane & Mara are gettin MARRIED!

I am hanging out in my small hometown of Battle Mountain, Nevada this week. And I'm SO thrilled because when people found out I was coming home they instantly wanted some photos taken!

Today was my first session, and I adored my time with these 3! I went to school with Shane & Mara, in fact I have more then 1 memory with these guys. I used to play with Mara as a kid and in high school I cruised a few times with Shane and the Tolbert boy!

After a life that took them both in different directions, these 2 have come together and are getting married. Of course when I work with my clients I love to ask them about 'their' story. Shane & Mara's story is C-U-T-E! In fact they admitted to me that when they lived only houses away from each other as children once in a while they'd steal a kiss from each other. Isn't this a match made in heaven?

I loved my time with you guys today Shane & Mara. And miss Kylee is SO cute! You guys are great & my wish for you is a life filled with love & laughter never ending. Thanks for trusting me with your adorable family.

Baby Ayden

Sweet baby Ayden was in the "studio" today! And was he EVER a GEM! This baby is the sweetest ever! Thank you mama C & Daddy R for trusting me to capture those first squishy baby looks!
